Dalla sua creazione nel 1998, ALIA VOX è la produttrice ed editrice esclusiva di tutte le nuove registrazioni di Hespèrion XXI, La Capella Reial di Catalunya, Le Concert dia Nations, Montserrat Figueras & Jordi Savall. Il catalogo ALIA VOX 2011 presenta le diverse produzioni realizzate durante i suoi primi 12 anni: 80 titoli di un repertorio eccezionalmente esteso comprendente opere dal Medioevo fino ai giorni nostri, con esempi leggendari come la colonna sonora del film Tutte le mattine del mondo di Alain Corneau, e realizzate grazie alla fedele collaborazione dei migliori interpreti attuali di questi repertori. Il successo straordinario di ALIA VOX, con più di 2 000.000 copie vendute già a dicembre del 2005 e la costituzione di una grande rete di distribuzione presente in più di 45 paesi di tutto il mondo, è stato possibile grazie ad un’intensa attività di concerti ed alla calda accoglienza del pubblico e della critica.

Tutto ciò prova che era logico e necessario, in un’epoca in cui le registrazioni di musica classica hanno tanti problemi, prendere le redini di una politica editoriale che si deve caratterizzare per la priorità assoluta data alla dimensione creativa e musicale. La realizzazione di un disco rappresenta un passo cruciale nel lungo processo di ricerca, ricostruzione, sperimentazione, approfondimento ed interpretazione in cui ogni vero artista è implicato. Ma le tappe finali di questo processo, cui partecipano gli interpreti, il tecnico del suono, il produttore e l’editore, richiedono una particolare attenzione affinché il risultato sia il più fedele possibile allo spirito originale. La musica è allora come la mediatrice tra la vita dello spirito e quella dei sensi.
